  I have never been more disrespected by a health care professional's facility. I arrived at my time for my appointment, got into a room right away. 15 minutes later, they bring a patient into the next room. The PA, whoever he is, decides to SKIP me. Needless to say, I sit for another 15/20 minutes, having casual conversation with the patient in the next room, not even talking about health care. Finally I decide to go to the check out and let them know what's going and what I've been hearing, and that if I was to not be seen, I needed to reschedule. The receptionist, wouldn't call her a nurse due to how unprofessional she was, treated me very rudely about it. She even made a pathetic excuse that this patient had seen Dr. Finnie for years, and was seeing the PA because Finnie wasn't available. I told her that was just petty to say, because I've been there since childhood, dealt with difficult medical issues such as depression and anxiety with this doctor. I was there for my anxiety, because for some reason my prescriptions stopped to get it under control, had been out of medication for a while, and had been having a lot, and I mean A LOT, of panic attacks. I also needed blood work done, I needed a full panel done, and I needed a shot. All of which I could not do, because this PA, instead of taking proper care of his patients, had to go have a casual conversation with another patient that came in much later than me. I couldn't even reschedule. My health has been declining, which is why I was there, and for my medication to stop the panic attacks, and now, I am having to see about possibly finding another doctor, because this one is either no longer available, or I'm getting skipped. After this, my family can continue to see this doctor, but I will not see this doctor any longer, as I am not okay with it. My anxiety and my depression, and even my health now, got put on the line, because of this doctor, and that's not okay. I have an enlarged heart, I needed to see about blood work. I needed a shot. Now, I am having to probably go seek another doctor, which will take time, money, insurance, negotiations. Thank you, Shavano Family Proactice. You need better professionals in your facility.
