- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was referred to Dr Burns after having spent 15 months struggling with an arthritic shoulder. I was in constant pain and I was unable to use my right arm. None of the more conservative treatments for my condition had proved effective. After evaluating my situation, Dr. Burns recommended a total shoulder replacement. His evaluation was thorough, professional and compassionate. Even though the prospect of a joint replacement was daunting, I had complete faith that I was in very competent, capable hands. He performed the surgery on my right shoulder in November 2014. I have nothing but praise for Dr Burns. My entire course of treatment from the surgery through the follow up appointments, has simply been the best. Thanks to his superb surgical skills and post-operation supervision, I am well on the way to recovering full motion and strength in my shoulder. I have no joint pain whatsoever.
