  Nurse practitioner Alison Polston is extremely passionate about her profession. She is compassionate and very competent. This is a very busy office, but she is worth the wait. She takes the time to actually listen to your symptoms and also takes the time to help you come up with an educated plan of action. In today's busy society it is hard to find health care providers that are not disconnected and seemingly cold with all that they deal with on a daily basis, but she manages to see very many patients and still care for them in a warm and friendly manner like she would her own family or friends. I hope this office realizes what a great employee they have. I recommend seeing her.

  Been a patient now for about 6 years. Do they have a lot of business? Yes. Does that bother me? No, why should it? I have had numerous assigned doctors at this clinic over the years, including Dr. Tisdale himself, and have been known to each and every one as an individual. I have always been treated with respect, and have never felt rushed or “herded”. I have undergone several procedures, and in my case we had to settle for prescriptions, but that’s my situation, in no way reflective of the docs (other doctors have certainly tried, I’m a rather difficult and far- gone case). Fun game, sit in the lobby and pick out the fakers or at least “greatly exaggerated in their suffering” folks, I’m sure some of the “dissatisfied” folks fall within these less-than-forthright areas. That’s my opinion, I’ve certainly never heard anyone at the clinic discuss any other patient. These are “pain” specialists after all, something that can’t exactly be eyeballed, in most cases , but which can be parlayed into disability, etc, if played right (I combine arthritis, diabetic neuropathy, and severe stroke damage...you might not be able to see the pain, but it’s pretty obvious somethings just ain’t right). If you’ve dealt with chronic pain, you sometimes can kind of spot things that just don’t seem to reflect an individual suffering greatly, such as fluidity, jumping up into a raised 4-wheeler (ok, just a personal opinion, I can barely get in and out of a car...so it might just be jealousy...maybe), and so on. I’ve seen folks who apparently could hardly move inside the clinic, even hobbling along with maybe a cane, but as soon as they’re outside, boom, it’s miracle time, the cane is no longer needed, and off they trot. And, like it or not, there are situations to where the docs simply cannot perform a miracle and make things all better (of which I’m a borderline case, my pain is on a very short leash, and sometimes I get somewhat discouraged...but that’s not the doctor’s fault). But as for the clinic, again, love all the folks there. Lots of experience with the bunch, and greatly respect them.
