- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The experience at the facility was not bad, and the PA that tended to me was thorough and helpful. My bad experience lies with the billing team. After all was said and done after my insurance remitted payment, I had a balance of $28.35. This place opted to send three letters that I never saw (I am paperless and opt to not receive any paper mail) with two late fees in the amount of $10.00 each. A small bill of $28.35 swelled to a bill in the amount of $48.35. When I called to try and rectify the situation, the billing specialist was completely unwilling to waive the two fees and accept payment for the initial $28.35 due to the fact that it "cost money to prepare and send the bills via mail". This lack of compassion and understanding upset me very much. Not once did I receive a phone call or an email, and when I asked about those vehicles of communication, the billing specialist stated that they operate by mail only and casually mentioned that they prepare over 500 bills per month. My advice is to start exploring other methods of communication if you would like to collect more of your outstanding balances. This place needs to understand that it is 2015 and that there are other methods of communication that are cheaper and faster than sending a piece of mail and then charging $10 for it. Due to the principal of the matter and the fact that I refuse to pay $20 in late fees for a bill of $28.35, this place can continue to spend money on more notices and sell my bill for pennies on the dollar to a collection agency. I will never go back and I will be sure that any of my 400 colleagues who work up the road from this place do not go either.January 25, 2017by Jonathan Garza
