  Most employees do not seem rude, but they all seem rather apathetic. I feel however, the pharmacist is the most arrogantly inept person I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. He seems most comfortable lying to customers to try to mask his incompetence then leaving his staff to deal with the understandably upset customers while he continues to hide in his chair. I'm embarrassed that I gave them a second chance. 1. Was told I could get a prescription filled as long as I followed certain steps. 2. I followed those steps, and the pharmacist was supposedly surprised by details that he had both been told and seemed to understand (based on his responses during the first interaction) when the prescription came in; instead of notifying either the doctor or me, they just ignored it. 3. I came in to ask about the status and was informed they couldn't do it, I asked why and stated that I had followed all the pharmacist steps, he came to the window and, with an agitated voice, said "do you want me to break the law?" To which I replied "of course not, but I would like you to explain why when I inquired about it previously you said you could as long as I did [x, y, and z], and now that I've done that, you're saying you can't. Why give me the runaround like that?" 4. After #3 transpired, he calmed down and returned the prescription so that I could take it to another pharmacy. I asked for my son's as well, but they did not want to look for it so they said they'd call me. 5. No call. 6. At this point, I'm still thinking accidents happen and chalking it up to a breakdown in communication. So I transfer a prescription there from another pharmacy, I mean I love heb and this one is a convenient distance from me. 7. In the meantime, a doctor calls in an antibiotic prescription. About 3 hours later I'm notified it is ready for pickup. When I go to pick it up later (3 more hours after the phone call), I ask the person at the desk about the status of the transferred prescription and the paper prescription for my son and without getting into too much detail, let's just say multiple stories were spun wasting my time and everyone else's for 20-30 minutes. When I left, I was no closer to a real answer on the status of either, but they'll call me ;)

  The pharmacy staff is always kind and will get you're medicine in a timely fashion. I've never had any complaints in the three years I've been using the pharmacy. I would definately recommend.
