  I would like to write a review for the front office - who is tremendously the best I've ever had to deal with. They are always on top of things. My daughter has special needs and we always need referrals/paperwork signed and they do it right away. It's always a pleasure dealing with them and it's the same ladies since we've been seeing Dr for 3 years.

  I am SO EXCITED about Doctor Xavier Cortada! We had our first visit today. My son is 16 months old, he is a very healthy boy. We had to change pediatricians a couple of times now because his other nuses and doctors weren't any good. He had one visit to his former doctor. She tried to force his foreskin down when my husband was holding him during his physical. She clearly saw an opportunity when he was being restrained and decided to try it at a time when my son was already crying and struggling. I gently but very quickly pulled her hand away when I saw what she was trying to do. Thank goodness I was watching closely. I firmly told her, "Please dont do that. Dont forcibly retract his foreskin." After she understood that I knew exactly what she was doing she backed right off and started acting like she wasn't going to retract his foreskin. We had made it clear that he had no urinating issues, he had no swelling lumps rashes or discoloration so she had no medical reason to handle him in that way to begin with. We had had many previous issues and incidents but that was the moment that I absolutely decided that I couldn't trust his doctor. We found that Dr. Cortada has wonderful reviews and accepts his insurance. I am so happy that we found a doctor we can trust. He made it clear that his practice is foreskin friendly and he knows with certainty how to care for uncircumcised intact boys! That is, if intact don't retract!!! We couldn't be happier! Trusting your child's doctor is so important! What a brilliant office this truly is! I would rate this office more than five stars if I could. We are very pleased parents today! For our visit this afternoon: The waiting area was clean and bright, there were various toys available for the children. The wait was not long at all, even though it was our first (ever!)visit. The receptionist was friendly and quick. The nurses were also friendly and professional. As for the shot my son got today it was carefully and gently administered by Dr. Cortada himself. The physical was also gentle and the doctor has a wonderful manner with children. I would recommend parents take their children here.

  I would rate him less than 1 if i could. My son is 5 and hes been seeing him since birth. Today i went in for a legitimate concern, he yelled at me and told me to find another doctor. My opinion is that he is to old to be practicing medicine and should retire. As i was leaving he either yelled at me or the PA to go read something. He never even took a moment or the courtesy to introduce the PA. I can see now why he has a small private practice and not apart of a group. Hes to pigheaded to listen to anyone and thinks he has all the answers without listening to whats going on. Its called a health history, doctor, was med school so long ago you forgot that part? To PAs doing your hours with him, look elsewhere, especially women, I imagine he treats you as inferior, judging by how he's treated me.
